While I've been doing lots of painting recently I've been less than happy with the photographs I've been taking. An odd consequence of this was that the work area was begining to pile up with finished models awaiting a decent photo to be taken!
So I decided to leave the light tent alone and go back to the old system of using a blue shirt thrown over a cardboard box and a pair of anglepoise lamps positioned where ever they seemed to work best. The results are much better, although still look a little dark so I've used the brightness auto-adjust software for the first time since I started using the Nikon. Also the zombie photo looks oddly grainy and I'm not sure why. Something has obviously extracted my ability to take reasonable photos while I was out in canada but slowly but surely I'm getting back!
I had wanted some of these units to be a bit of a surprise, although most of you have seen them in the previous poor photos.
Several additions to the Street People Albums including a posse of Yardies and some Gangsta Gang Bangers. Also some new additions to the cutthroats album including the rest of the boarding pike equipped figures.
Real stars of the day, however have to be the Red Maws from Hasslefree
