Well I've made it onto Cheddarmongers, and have posted some pics of my minis.
Thought I'd start with the minis I use the most (my Blood Bowl teams) and one of my favourite minis (the classic 40k assasin).
The blood bowl teams are painted very basically but I still think they look good on the pitch. I use both teams in a league with a bunch of friends. Its a 16 team league, with each coach having two teams. We have end of season tournaments once all coaches have played 8 or more games with one of their teams.
Blood Bowl is pretty much the only game I play now. I do sometimes get the chance to dust off the 40k orks, and occasionally play man o war. I'd like to get back into Necromunda but that requires a lot more commitment.
I've recently got more into the painting and modelling side of the hobby, thanks mainly to finding the Forum of Doom and the great minis the companies there produce.
There are quite a few projects scattered around my desk, and now I have this I may well get them finished (or started again) so I can post the pictures. First on the list; my entry for the Golden Chef. Then there are the demon kiddies to finish, the large resin thrud, Ogre star players, classic genestealers and hybrids, some rogue trader minis, finish sculpting the inquisitor scale genestealer, have another go at sculpting humans. And probably a lot of other ideas that will distract me first
Better get on with it then
Fun players!
Your orcs are great fun! Some really cool conversions there, particularly the cheerleaders!
What can you tell me about the ogres? Are they the GW team, how did you squeeze them on 25mm bases!?!
Orcs and Ogres
The plastic boxed sets make it very easy to convert a decent team. So much better than the original BB teams. Almost every team in the league has been made up using the plastic regiment/unit box sets (the other Orc coach used Warhammer bits not 40k so his look very different).
The Cheerleaders are gorgeous, I dont know what you mean
The Ogres are the GW team. The bases are quite heavily weighted so that they stand up. Had to go for 25mm bases as trying to get 4 on any larger bases in adjacent squares is pretty much impossible
Ogre Bases
I had a similar problem with my Ogre team and basing: fortunately, I've got the really old style of BB Ogre, which, for the most part do actually fit on a 25mm base (just) like yours do.
I just can't decide if I like the new or the old ogres better!! I'll try and get some photos of my Ogre team in the next couple of days ... :)
Biggest problem my team has though, is their luck!! First game, first thrown snotling. Dead snotling ... :D
The new Ogres
I much prefer the new Ogres to the old ones. I like the way they look like theyre wearing proper american football kit, although I really dislike most of the heads. Thats why mine are all in full face Helmets. I am working on a Morg conversion as the original model is so much smaller than the new ogres!
Be good to see your team :)
I've played 15 games now and have lost 3 ogres. One in the first game! I can never get the bloomin snots to land either, and when they do they scatter too far from the end zone
I've not lost an Ogre (yet),
I've not lost an Ogre (yet), but I think I'm turning over 1 snot per game on average. I have found that snots play better if you give them girls names - dunno why, but it works for my team! :)
We play in a fixed schedule league - like the English football does - so last time they played I had my Orc team and one of the other chaps played my Ogres. Only time a snotling has landed successfully, with the ball, he runs it in for a touchdown - and I'm not even the coach that day!! Mutter, mutter! :D Still, at least they're top of the league, for the time being!
More ogres
Unfortunately I found heresy after I got the GW minis and have enough. Other things to spend my money on unfortunately :O
I cant seem to get my snots to die, they just end up MNG. Not too bad tho as journeymen snots are better than most of mine!
I've pretty much given up on the TTM as I have an AG3 Ogre with Break Tackle. 4 TD's so far :)
I sold one of the other coaches in the league an ogre (or at least enough spare parts for one) and he's caused 5 casualties in 4 games!
If you want to have a look at our league please do; we have our own forum The LBBL
Looks good. Drop a quick
Looks good. Drop a quick note in Cheddar Chat when you add one of your matches, and I'll try and keep up-to-date with where you're at! :) One of the things I have to do is upload some info on games from our league onto the web. I'll let you know when I get there!
Ogres ogres everywhere...
Have any of the Heresy fantasy football ogres? They're particularly good, and have lots of options:

Heresy Ogres
Do I own some? Yes :)
Have I assembled and painted any? No, not yet :)
I plan to use one of these chaps when I purchase my sixth Ogre for my team (or fifth, or fourth, if I have fatalities before then!)
They are really quite nice.
Ogres
As promised :)
