Adding Pictures to Your Gallery
Adding your favorite pictures to your gallery is fun and easy! Here's what you need to know to upload pictures.
First, go to your album. There is a Your Album link on the upper right of all Gallery pages. Your album is automatically created the first time you access it as a registered user.
Choose Add Items from the Album Actions dropdown menu. This will display the Add Item page, with several tabs. I'll explain two of those tabs:
From Web Browser -- the easiest way to add photos. Click on the From Web Browser tab, and you'll see a page where you can upload several pictures.

[*]File -- this is where you browse for the picture on your computer. Hit the browse button and locate one of the pictures you wish to add.
[*]Caption -- this is your one-shot opportunity to add descriptive text when uploading the picture. I generally type in the friendly, descriptive name that I'm going to give the picture.
[*]Repeat for however many pictures you want, up to the 2 megabytes per picture or 8 megabytes total size limit.
[*]Hit the more link if you want to add more than four pictures at this time.
[*]Scroll down past the more link. You'll see the "Set item titles from:" dropdown; leave it at Base Filename if you want to use the actual file name, or I usually use the Caption choice. Otherwise, you can assign the info you typed in the Caption box to the Summary and/or the Description of the picture. See General Info for the uses of the Summary and Description boxes. Summary is a "little snippet," and Description is "the full story."
[*]Create Thumbnails -- eh. You can leave that checked, it doesn't matter. I don't like to use the default thumbnails, but the site creates them anyway the first time someone accesses the picture.
[*]Hit the Add Items button, and you're all set!
