Finally a new Workbench photo

cheddarmonger's picture

I know, it's been a while. A very long while! Well, here we go. I have some time off of work, so I dug out my paints, cleaned up my work bench, and started painting! Here's what I have in progress:

Week of November 23, 2008Week of November 23, 2008

Quite a bit of Reaper here; Sasquatch, a chained ghost, a detective, a barber, a grave digger and his assistance, and The King by West Wind.

Nicely does it ...

That ghost is looking nice - how did you get the greenish tinge, cheddar?

Painting ghosts

We might have a tutorial somewhere, I think Uncle Phil borrowed the technique for his ghosly miniatures, and of course, there's my Mordheim Town Cryer here:

After priming white, I painted the miniature all over with FloQuil Polly S Glacier Green then drybrush white. That's it! On this miniature, I washed the chains with black ink then painted the links with GW Brazen Brass (I couldn't get my beaten copper bottle opened!).
