We are a completely volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting miniature gaming in Minnesota (USA) and the surrounding regions. We hold quarterly conventions featuring games for everyone - beginning players to established veterans. Members are also a great resource for information on miniature games and local venues. The MMGA conducts demonstration and instructional games for both new games and old favorites. Various tournaments are also scheduled.

This is an extremely useful tool for checking line of sight for miniatures wargames. I've built two of them for Mordheim. It's also great fun just to look at your miniatures from their eye level. With just a couple of mirrors, foamcore and a little imagination, you can have one too!

Lord of the Rings is more or less the foundation of modern D&D. The latter rose from the former, although the two are now so estranged that to reunite them would be an act of savage madness. Imagine a gaggle of modern hack-n-slash roleplayers who had somehow never been exposed to the original Tolkien mythos, and then imagine taking those players and trying to introduce them to Tolkien via a D&D campaign.
