Just got an assorted lot of plastic RT marines, and mixed in with them is a quartet of marines in pale blue.
They are painted entirely pale blue, with white drybrushing. Eyes are red and the studs on the left shoulder are white. Right shoulder has no insignia. The basic blue appears to be a match with Vallejo Azur Blue.
One has a powerfist, the others a single bolt pistol.
I rather like these guys, so as a bit of fun, and to stir up the creative juices:-
Can anyone suggest what Chapter these guys might be from? Can't think of any established chapters that use pale blue. Any suggestions for a good name.
May be these guys aren't marines but some other power armoured fighter. May be they are renegades or renegade marines?
Any ideas?

Although the name does remind me of the chapter portrayed in "Turn Signals of a Land Raider: http://tsoalr.com/?p=1

Well done-although my guys look nothing like this (the Emperor's Spears look a lot like ultramarines)
I'm beginning to think they look rather like a covert unit on some frozen methane or ice planet -although covert and wearing Mk6 marine armour is rather contradictory!
I've finished sorting out the mold lines and repainting them, so will put up some photos once I get around to setting up for photography again -but too busy painting figures to photograph them at the moment.
Click the picture, you know you want to....

And finally got round to photographing them (supporting an assassin)

Proper old-style Adeptus Astartes
Very nice, Phil
Proper old-style Adeptus Astartes always tinge me with a touch of nostalgia!
Mk6s
I can't claim any credit for these, since all I did was sort out the mould lines and repaint those sections.
But I do have a nice selection of Mk6s now, some with the powerfists looking just like the memorable photos in Rogue Trader (what was his name? Pedro Cantor of the Crimson fists?)
These ones I did paint
If they were smart GW or Forgeworld would release a box set of Mk 6 armour -and I love the old style missile launcher
