Text Starved?

Some really interesting stuff has been going up on CM recently:- beautiful little ships and islands, stargate stuff and some kind of Ultramarine conversion.

Could I ask that you spare a second or two to add a few lines of text just to put things in context? It can be anything -where the models are from, what you plan to use them for, special effects you used on them and so forth.

I second that! You can add comments when you post pictures... I notice that a lot of pictures posted here have discussions elsewhere and that's cool, how about adding a link in your description to the discussion about the picture!

i keep meaning to go back and sort everything out, thing is when your in a rush to upload stuff you tend to not bother giving it titles and descriptions.

my routine

What I do is upload everything into one folder. Rearrange so that the new stuff is at the start of the folder, then hit edit captions and add text. Next use the "bulk edit tags" to err, edit the tags. Then move the stuff you don't want in the folder to other albums

I usually only upload one or two pics at a time. I upload them all at once, then use the multiple tabs feature in IE to be able to edit them all sequentially or simultaneously, depending on how responsive the internet is that day. Also, this means that I don't usually forget any.

If there is something I'm not adding to my pics that you want to see, let me know, and I'll make sure I add it to my mental list! Smiling
