        I've always had a problem working out exactly what paints to use to paint "Old-style" Genestealers.

Some time ago I was talking to someone in a shop who was planning to take up figure painting. I mentioned Black Inking as a useful technique and he admitted he didn’t know what it was.

The new GW Legion of the Dammed figures are really nice! Some nice details and some good poses too!

I've been asked a couple of times how I did the carapaces of my Tyranids, so guess it is time for a tutorial.

How you do it is a follows:-

I subscribe to the Mini-Painter Yahoo Group, and a painting newbie asked about how people set up their work area for painting.

So, I figured I'd contribute.

Inspired by the great paintjobs that others have done on this mini, I was inspired to crank this chap out pretty quickly (for me!) .
