Good news is that I've put some photos up as promised. These may be found in the Imperium album and the Empire album, or use the new dynamic features just to see new stuff.

Bad news is that I don't like the photos that much. Various improvements occured to me once I viewed the photos. I've already painted better eyes and skin tones on the Founder's Marines and reworked the Colonel a little. I think the studs on his jerkin need picking out too. Looks OK when you are handling the model but looks wrong in the photo.
I've also mucked up the composition of a couple. I have a squat holding a shell next to a laser weapon and the marine with the power sword was supposed to be with the assault squad.

Chances are I'll be posting new photos of some of these tomorrow and binning some of the ones that went up

David's Miniatures

All of the founder's company marines are from the time of the 1st edition, WH40K-Rogue Trader in the late 80s. I presume the plastic rank and file marines that I didn't paint were all made from the first plastic marine squad that was released. The metal figures that I added (the ones without helmets) are all from the same period.

The Squats were really fun to paint. Eventually this unit will be expanded with some Grynn I've not painted yet. The keen eyed may notice that I based the colour scheme on the box art of the original Squat regiment box.
